Predmetom zákaziek zadávaných v dynamickom nákupnom systéme (ďalej ako "DNS") bude vykonanie čistenia plôch od zvyškov po ťažbe, príprava pôdy na obnovu lesa, obnovu lesa sadbou alebo sejbou, následnú starostlivosť o mladé lesné porasty ich ochranou proti burine, zveri a ich výchovu prerieďovaním a odstraňovaním nežiaducich drevín z porastu za účelom ich skvalitnenia a stability. Túto základnú starostlivosť doplňujú práce v ochrane lesa, zamerané na prevenciu a priamu obranu proti škodlivým činiteľom, práce na odstraňovaní inváznych bylín a drevín, ostatné pestovateľské práce, práce na zachovaní a reprodukcii genofondu lesných drevín a práce na udržiavaní lesnej dopravnej siete pre potreby realizácie pestovateľskej činnosti. Ide o odbornú činnosť, zameranú na trvalo udržateľné hospodárenie v lesoch takým spôsobom a v takom rozsahu, aby sa uchovala ich biologická diverzita, odolnosť, produkčná a obnovná schopnosť, životnosť a schopnosť plniť produkčné, sociálne a ekologické funkcie lesov. Ide o diferencované hospodárenie v lesoch, pri ktorom sa zohľadňujú rozmanité prírodné, porastové, hospodárske, ekonomické a spoločenské podmienky a požiadavky, uplatnené pri vyhotovení a realizácií programu starostlivosti o lesy a postupy podľa osobitných predpisov pri odstraňovaní následkov mimoriadnych okolností a nepredvídaných škôd na lesoch.
