Predmetom verejného obstarávania je DNS na kúpu a dodanie tovaru, ktorý je bežne dostupný na trhu. Ide predovšetkým o nákupy bežne dostupných prístrojov a zariadení pre vedu a výskum používaných v laboratóriách a to podľa potrieb BMC SAV. Do podrobnej špecifikácie predmetu zákazky v jednotlivých výzvach v rámci zriadeného DNS môžu byť integrované environmentálne požiadavky.
