Summary

Machine-generated summary

This tender covers refurbishment works at two lighthouse stations in Orkney, Scotland. At Hoxa Head, on South Ronaldsay, works are purely civil: washing down and removing lichen and marine growth from GRP, concrete and metal surfaces, repairing daymark panels and metalwork, and re-stringing the boundary fence. At Skerry of Ness, a tidal station 200m offshore near Stromness reached on foot at low tide or by boat at high tide, works are scheduled around tide times. No electrical works are involved and the optic stays operational. Access is by field tracks and tidal shore paths, with no welfare facilities on site.
