The contracting authority is purchasing road passenger transport services to carry children and young people from pre-school through to secondary education. The service covers both regular circuits and occasional circuits, provided under a hire regime with drivers. Transport will support leisure, pedagogical, cultural, sporting and curricular enrichment activities organised for the 2026/2027 school year. The contract therefore concerns school bus hire for organised school trips and scheduled routes during that academic year, covering pupils across the full range of school levels from pre-school to secondary school.
