Serveis de retirada, transport, custòdia i posterior lliurament per a la gestió del desballestament a un Centre Autoritzat de Tractament (CAT) dels vehicles abandonats o fora d’ús del municipi de Santa Coloma de Gramenet, ja sigui procedents de la via pública, ingressats al dipòsit municipal o respecte dels quals els seus titulars hagin formalitzat renúncia a favor de l’Ajuntament. El servei inclou totes les actuacions necessàries per a la seva correcta gestió com a residus, incloent la recepció, emmagatzematge, descontaminació, tractament, emissió del certificat de destrucció, tramitació de la baixa definitiva davant la Direcció General de Trànsit i, si escau, l’alienació dels subproductes resultants, d’acord amb el que estableixi el Plec de Prescripcions Tècniques i la normativa vigent en matèria de vehicles al final de la seva vida útil i gestió de residus. Complementàriament és objecte d’aquest contracte la promoció del medi ambient.
