Das vorrangige Ziel ist eine flächendeckende, systematische und nach allgemeinen Normen orientierte Risikoerfassung und Gefährdungsermittlung sowie die damit verbundene Massnahmenverfolgung mit der Software. Die Software / Applikation soll die BVB dabei unterstützen, ihre rechtliche, wirtschaftliche, soziale und revisionssichere Verantwortung und Sicherheit im Bereich RM-AS wahrzunehmen und sicherzustellen.
