GVZ Gebäudeversicherung Zürich, the buildings insurance institution of the Canton of Zurich, intends to replace its current core system 'BS-Kern'. It is procuring a software solution capable of reproducing the existing processes and functionality of the current 'BS-Kern' system, while also offering additional processes, functionalities and interfaces beyond that. The technical and functional requirements compiled in the tender documents must be met in full by the solution. GVZ aims to conclude a contract with a service provider by the end of Q1 2027; the provider will then specify, implement and introduce the new fire protection core system in detail, including capturing and analysing business processes, migrating legacy data and delivering internal training, and will support and maintain it long term.
