Der denkmalgeschützte gotische Dom St. Nikolaus in Stendal ist ein hochwertiges Zeugnis hanseatischer norddeutscher Baukultur, für den als herausragendes Merkmal der Erhalt eines großen Bestands von originalen Bleiglasfenstern charakteristisch ist. Infolge von Kriegsschäden (2.WK) sind Teile der originalen Verglasungen im Langhaus verloren gegangen und wurden mit Rechteck-Klarglas-Bleiverglasung versehen. Alle die Baumaßnahmen an Wänden und Decken des Langhauses u. Südquerhauses inkl. Seitenkapellen betroffenen Bleiglasfenster sind vor Verschmutzung und vor mechanischer Beschädigung währende der Baumaßnehmen zu schützen. Der Schutz der Verglasungen aus Spanplatten und Folien ist so herzustellen, dass eine temporäre Belüftungen unten und oben am Fenster möglich sind. Die Schutzmaßnahmen sind im Zusammenhang mit den Gerüstbauarbeiten vorzusehen. Das bauseitige Gerüst soll in 3 Teilabschnitten aufgestellt werden. Die Vorhaltung u. Unterhaltung der Schutzmaßnahmen ist über die gesamte Bauzeit von ca. 5-6 Monaten pro Teilabschnitt vorzusehen. Restauratorische Arbeiten an den Bleiglasfenstern sind nicht Teil der ausgeschriebenen Leistungen. Angesichts des hohen Denkmalwertes der gotischen Bleiverglasungen ist die nachzuweisende fachliche Qualifikation und Erfahrung des ausführenden Unternehmens beauflagt und abzusichern.
