Renovation of old digester tower, BL03, scaffolding with crane rail above the upper opening (D=1.8 m)

The old digester tower (1,260 m3, built 1969, classic European design with truncated cone sections top and bottom and a reinforced concrete cylindrical middle section with interior coating) at the wastewater treatment plant of the RHV Ried is to be renovated. The tower will first be almost completely emptied (about 250 m3 of digested sludge), then cleaned and inspected. For this work, scaffolding with a crane rail is required above the upper opening (diameter 1.8 m), into which a trolley and an electric rope winch (approved for person lifting!) will be mounted. The winch will lower and secure personnel and lower material into the tower. Execution period: calendar weeks 14 to 37.
