Collection and recycling of household garden waste in the municipality of Kriegstetten

The municipality of Kriegstetten is procuring the collection of garden waste from households within the municipal area and the recycling of the collected material. The processing site is freely selectable, either a digestion plant or a composting facility. Collections must be carried out with a refuse compactor vehicle with rear loader equipped with a comb-type tipping system. A total of 23 collections take place per year: two per month from February to November (three collections in June or July), and one each in December and January. A chipping service offered to residents five times a year is requested as an additional option. Detailed requirements will be set out in the specifications. A modelled volume trend is used for the tender because previous collection data from the merged municipalities of Halten, Oekingen and Kriegstetten are not fully documented.
