The Romanian Senate is procuring the supply of 8 active network devices, namely network switches with accessories, including 8 uninterruptible power supply units (UPS). The contract also covers delivery, installation, configuration, commissioning and manufacturer licensed support during the warranty period. The system is intended to provide high-speed connectivity in the Senate's network infrastructure, interconnect IT equipment in the data centre and local networks, and manage data traffic between servers, storage equipment and workstations. Equipment must be new, unused, in current production (not end of life), supplied through an official channel in Romania, and designed for continuous 24/7 operation in an enterprise environment. Clarification requests may be submitted up to 18 days before the submission deadline.
