Основната цел на проекта е подобряване на транспортно - експлоатационните характеристики и носимоспособността на настилката на улица „Васил Левски“ и прилежащите й тротоари в гр. Лясковец, с оглед осигуряване условия за безопасност на движението, комфорт на пътуващите и добро отводняване. Предвижда се конструкцията на асфалтовата настилка при реконструкция на уличното платно от км 0+816.15 до 0+980.00 да бъде изпълнена от 4 cm - плътен асфалтобетон тип „А“ (АС 12,5 изн-А) и 4 cm - асфалтова смес за долен пласт на покритието (АС 16 биндер). От двете страни на улицата ще бъдат положени нови бетонови бордюри с размери 15/25/50. При изпълнение на тротоарите ще се запази съществуващото им ниво пред входовете и гаражите, за да бъде осигурен нормален достъп на живущите. Зелените площи и дървата ще бъдат отделени от новата тротоарна настилка чрез полагане на градински бордюри с размери 8/16/50 cm, като същите ще бъдат използвани и при отделяне на тротоарната настилка от имотите със съществуващи телени огради или при липсващи такива, съгласно изискванията на утвърденото задание за проектиране. Тротоарната настилка ще да бъде изпълнена от 5 cm - вибропресовани бетонови плочки с размери 40/40/5 cm, 3 cm - цименто-пясъчен разтвор и 20 cm - пътна основа от трошен камък с непрекъсната зърнометрия (0-32 mm). Нa всички пътни пресичания по цялата дължина на трасето е предвидено понижаване на бордюрите за осигуряване на достъпна среда и плавно преминаване на пешеходци и велосипедисти и жълти тактилни ивици за внимание с размери 40/40/5. От км. 0+816,15  е предвидено изграждане на тръбна мрежа от HDPE тръби с диаметър 40мм., разположена в десния тротоар, осигуряваща възможност за изтегляне на оптични кабели за широколентов достъп до интернет. По трасето на тръбната мрежа ще се изградят 5 бр. нови кабелни шахти от двете страни при всяко пресичане през път, както и на разстояние не по-голямо от 100м с размер 950/650/800. Видовете работи са съгласно техническа документация - проект, КС и Техническа спецификация, приложени в електронната преписка на процедурата.
