Refurbishment of Maughold Head and Douglas Head Lighthouses

The Northern Lighthouse Board (NLB) is seeking a contractor to carry out refurbishment works at two lighthouses on the Isle of Man: Maughold Head and Douglas Head. The works include applying external and internal decorative and protective coatings, plus minor civils work at each site such as removal and addition of flooring, minor metalwork and window works. Full details will be in the tender documents and Bill of Quantities. A mandatory site visit between 10th and 12th September 2026 is required; tenders from suppliers who do not attend will not be accepted. Tender documents publish on 25th August 2026 and submissions are due by 29th September 2026. Work is expected to start around 1st November 2026. Contractors need a works permit for the Isle of Man before the start date. No estimated contract value is stated.
