The Hospital of the Brothers of Mercy Eggenberg is to be renovated. Building wing G2 will be renewed for future use as geriatric and general psychiatry, with a total of 60 beds planned for the psychiatric wards. The existing 34 beds for neurology will be retained. As part of the conversion, the hospital will also be brought up to current fire safety and personal protection standards. The two wings G3 and G5 will be decommissioned and separated from the parts of the hospital still in operation. New fire compartments must partly be created in the other wings, or existing ones adapted. Construction works are procured for the city of Graz district of Eggenberg.
