Description

Diabaig Estate and Zora Ecosystems are partnering with NatureScot's Peatland ACTION team and experienced contractors to restore approximately 174 hectares of actively eroding peatland across Diabaig Estate over two phases. This will be the first peatland restoration project on Diabaig Estate and is scheduled to begin in summer 2027. Further details are available in the Statement of Requirements and the Restoration Design Plan. Please see details in Statement of Requirements. Tenderers should be aware that this contract is dependent on funding being achieved. A date of 27th of August 2026 has been entered into this posting as the contract award date. Please be advised that this is the date for notification of Preferred Contractor and not contract award.
