Unidade Local de Saúde do Tâmega e Sousa, EPE purchased ultrasound scanners for its Surgical Department and its Department for Women, Children and Adolescents. The purchase was split into six lots covering portable ultrasound scanners for General Surgery and for Angiology and Vascular Surgery, scanners for Urology, a high-end scanner for prenatal diagnostics in Gynaecology/Obstetrics, a scanner with a biometer for Ophthalmology, and a scanner with prostate fusion for Urology. The contract was awarded to General Electric Healthcare Portugal, Sociedade Unipessoal, Lda., Oftaldata-Produtos para Oftalmologia, Lda. and FUJIFILM PORTUGAL, S.A. for EUR 301,780, which is 3% below the estimated value of EUR 311,900.
