The contract covers the supply of a mobile tracking radar measurement system based on the Doppler effect. The radar must provide a recording range of at least 50 km for objects such as 155 mm artillery shells. Mobility is to be ensured by integrating the radar with a trailer equipped with a car towing hitch. The scope of the contract also includes training of the contracting authority's personnel in the operation and maintenance of the system. Detailed requirements and a description of the subject matter are set out in the Technical Specification, attached to the terms of reference, and in the draft contract provisions to be provided to economic operators invited to submit offers.
