The buyer, Siec Badawcza Lukasiewicz-Instytut Metali Niezaleznych, purchased deliveries of contaminated lead scrap with a Pb content of at least 92%. The contract covered approximately 600 Mg in total, averaging about 50 Mg per month. The material consists of metallic lead scrap including cables, sheaths, wires and protective covers up to 2 m long and 5 cm in diameter, coils 1 m in diameter, and granulate and pieces up to 20 cm in diameter. Foreign material contamination must not exceed 3%. The contract has been awarded; details of the winner, awarded value and bids are given in the award notice.
