The buyer, ÖBB TS Linz in Austria, intends to procure additional climate chambers for the incoming inspection, maintenance and outgoing inspection of air conditioning units, as volumes of units serviced at the Linz site are increasing. The new R290 refrigerant used in air conditioning systems installed in locomotives also requires new equipment, with large quantities expected at the Linz works. The scope includes full project execution, planning of the plant conversion, delivery, unloading, installation, assembly, CE marking, acceptance and trial operation, provision of all permits required for operation, documentation, and comprehensive training of operating staff. An optional 36-month full maintenance contract is also tendered.
