Description

Bei der geplanten Neuanschaffung handelt es sich um ein Next Generation Hochdurchsatz-Sequenziergerät zur Humangenomsequenzierung („Sequenziergerät“). Ein derartiges Gerät wird benötigt, um eine zeitgemäße Diagnostik von Erbkrankheiten in Ti-rol und Österreich sicherzustellen, den steigenden Anforderungen in der Erforschung seltener Erbkrankheiten Rechnung zu tragen und die Teilnahme an nationalen und internationalen Forschungsprojekten, etwa im Bereich der Humangenomforschung, zu ermöglichen.Das Sequenziergerät soll Short-Read-Genomanalysen mit einer Leselänge von etwa 70 bis 150 Nukleotiden in kurzer Zeit und mit hohem Probendurchsatz durchführen können. Ange-strebt wird eine Kapazität von rund 4.000 Proben pro Jahr.
