Vesar seeks a supplier for the transport and treatment of residual waste from household sanitation collected at the contracting authority's reloading facility in Tonsberg and from Larvik municipality. The service also covers combustible reject from The Magic Factory in Tonsberg. Estimated annual quantities are around 17,000 tonnes of residual waste from Vesar households, around 4,500 tonnes of residual waste from Larvik, and around 10,000 tonnes of combustible reject. There is an option allowing up to approximately 10,000 tonnes per annum of household waste to be extracted from the contract. The contract runs for 2 years, with an option for extension of 1 plus 1 year, the first year as a unilateral option for the contracting authority and the second year subject to agreement by both parties.
