Statnett in Norway intends to establish framework agreements for the purchase of stringing equipment and related components used in construction, operation, maintenance, reinvestment and replacement work on its high-voltage overhead lines. The agreements cover planned purchases, reinvestments and time-critical needs caused by breakdown, damage, wear or phase-out of existing equipment. The scope includes four areas: electrically powered drum winches, combustion-engine powered winches and pullers, manual and/or motorised line cars, and rigging, access and stringing accessories such as pulley blocks, ladders, conductor grips, clamp bodies and wedges, connecting links and swivels. Each area includes spare parts, documentation, service, repair and technical support, and where agreed loan or replacement equipment, supporting Statnett's preparedness model.
