Summary

Machine-generated summary

Gol municipality, on behalf of the six municipalities in Hallingdal, Norway, is carrying out a market survey (RFI) on documentation management, focused on a shared archive core solution covering archival information generated in trade systems. No estimated value or deadline is stated. The survey aims to gather insight from potential suppliers ahead of a future procurement, in light of new archive laws, standards and technology. Interested suppliers may respond to the RFI; this is not yet a contract award procedure.

Description

Gol municipality plans, on behalf of the municipalities in Hallingdal, to carry out a market survey on general documentation management in the region. 1.1.1 Background and purpose of the market survey The six municipalities in Hallingdal have started a preliminary study to look at a more comprehensive and future orientated documentation management, at the same time that we must continually deal with archival documentation in new trade systems. Our ongoing procurement of a new electronic patient journal (EPJ) has clarified the need for a total assessment of how archival documentation is handled across trade systems. The current systems are fragmented, with many archive cores and complex set-ups, and present challenges, among other things, for structure, work flow, quality and resource use. The six municipalities have joint ICT operations and cooperate on digitalisation projects and procurements of new digital systems with the accompanying joint contract management. In order to gain insight that can enable us to make good road choices further, we would like to carry out a market survey with potential suppliers. The main focus is the safeguarding of archival information generated in trade systems in accordance with laws and regulations, and it is especially important for us to see this in the light of changed laws, regulations and standards in the archive area, new technology and possibilities for a more comprehensive approach further.
