Request for information (RFI) for intake pipelines/submarine pipelines for a new water treatment facility

MK, on behalf of Modum municipality in Norway, plans a turnkey contract for the delivery and laying of intake pipelines for a new waterworks and back-up water source (E4). The waterworks supplies about 10,000 persons and the intake shall have a capacity of 90 l/s. The back-up intake will be at Bergsjø at Geithus, downstream of Tyrifjorden in the Drammensvassdraget. The contract covers delivery and laying of intake pipelines, complete including intake and any diving and underwater works, with the interface at the raw water pump station. Before announcing the competition, MK issues this RFI and invites contractors and suppliers to give feedback on interest, possible systems and products, so tender documentation can be adapted. No value or deadline is stated.
