Norway - Construction work for pipelines, communication and power lines - Øygarden 132kV Turnkey Contract

A Norwegian contracting authority intends to award a design-build (turnkey) contract for the establishment of the Øygarden substation. The works cover design and construction of a complete class 3 substation, including buildings, technical installations and associated infrastructure, installation of cable systems and routing, a new line connection between Blomøy and the new substation, and demolition of selected parts of the existing grid. All disciplines are included: civil works, HVAC, electrical, telecommunications and automation. The 145 kV GIS switchgear is excluded, but the contractor must ensure provisions for its installation and integration.
