The basis for this project is the development plan Elvegata-Havnegata with ID-nos: 1108 2016127 and the project aims to improve capacity and accessibility for Bussveien, as well as better traffic safety and accessibility for pedestrians and cyclists in this part of Sandnes centre. New Bus Route touches the streets Julie Eges gate, Holbergsgate, Havnegata and Gravarsveien.
