The municipalities of Hochburg-Ach and Überackern are procuring the construction of a new joint municipal office building. The building is a three-storey solid structure in reinforced concrete and brick with external thermal insulation, without a basement. A barrier-free lift will be installed. Outside, a reinforced concrete auxiliary building will house waste and bicycle parking areas. Surface water drainage includes a sedimentation system and three seepage shafts. The flat roof carries a photovoltaic system, the heat pump outdoor unit and six rooflights above the staircase, one of which is a smoke and heat extraction vent. The current office in the neighbouring building is to be vacated and demolished only after completion of the new building including the move.
