De aanbestedingsbehoefte van Provincie Zeeland omvat het uitvoeren van een onderzoek naar de ruimte en draagkracht voor recreatie in de Natura 2000-gebieden Manteling van Walcheren, Kop van Schouwen, Oosterschelde en Grevelingen. Het onderzoek brengt gedurende minimaal 1 jaar de relatie in beeld tussen recreatief gebruik en ecologische draagkracht, met bijzondere aandacht voor vogelsoorten, verstoring, habitatgebruik en mogelijkheden voor recreatieve spreiding. De opdracht resulteert in objectieve, reproduceerbare analyses, kaartmateriaal, datasets en beleidsgerichte aanbevelingen ter ondersteuning van natuurbeheer en beleidsvorming. De opdracht betreft een onderzoeks- en adviesopdracht met een geraamde waarde van € 450.000 exclusief btw. De opdracht omvat het uitvoeren van een integraal onderzoek naar de ruimte en draagkracht voor recreatie in vier Natura 2000-gebieden in Zeeland (Manteling van Walcheren, Kop van Schouwen, Oosterschelde en Grevelingen).
