Tijdelijke huisvesting wordt ingezet voor maatschappelijke doeleinden en hierbij is sprake van de volgende soorten tijdelijke huisvesting: A.Onderwijs oTijdelijke scholen en tijdelijke dependances oNoodlokalen voor onderwijs B.Zorg oKinderdagopvang oOpvanglocatie voor daklozen, asielzoekers, vluchtelingen en crisisopvang oTijdelijke zorgwoningen C.Kantoorvoorziening oBouwketen/ Kantoorunits oTijdelijke werkplekken voor Gemeenten of projectorganisaties D.Gemeenschapsvoorzieningen oBuurtkamer/buurthuizen oGemeentelijke informatiepunten oCulturele of sociale ontmoetingsruimtes E.Sport oSportkantines oKleedruimtes oOpslagruimtes voor sportmaterialen F.Overig oBijvoorbeeld strandpaviljoen Afname van tijdelijke huisvesting kan in verschillende contractvormen zoals huur, koop en eventueel huurkoop geschieden.
