Description

Nijmegen-Noord groeit de komende jaren naar ruim 30.000 inwoners. Het is belangrijk dat Noord volwaardige voorzieningen krijgt. Er is behoefte aan een nieuwe basisschool en bibliotheek. Inmiddels heeft de Minister ingestemd met het stichten van een nieuwe school in de wijk Hof van Holland. Dit betekent dat de gemeente de zorgplicht heeft om onderwijshuisvesting beschikbaar te stellen aan deze nieuwe school. Vanuit dat algemeen belang vinden we tevens de aansluiting van kinderopvang en BSO met onderwijs belangrijk en daarom realiseren we deze voorzieningen in de school. Daar waar in deze leidraad staat “school” bedoelen we tevens de kinderopvang en BSO in hetzelfde gebouw. De gemeente neemt het bouwheerschap voor haar rekening. Voor de bibliotheek bieden de huidige locaties in De Klif (Oosterhout) en De Ster (Lent) niet de ruimte om mee te kunnen groeien met dit stadsdeel. Daarnaast voldoen deze locaties in kwalitatief opzicht niet. Door een nieuwe vestiging in de wijk Hof van Holland te realiseren, borgen we de bibliotheekvoorziening voor Noord. In de bibliotheek zal ook een vestiging van de Lindenberg alsmede Bindkracht 10 komen. Daar waar we in deze leidraad staat “bibliotheek” bedoelen we tevens de ruimtes voor de Lindenberg en Bindkracht10 in hetzelfde gebouw. Het doel van deze opdracht is te komen tot een overeenkomst met een opdrachtnemer voor de bouw van een nieuwe school en bibliotheek in Hof van Holland, Nijmegen. De gemeente heeft zelf een ontwerp laten opstellen en uitwerken tot een bestek. Van opdrachtnemer wordt de realisatie daarvan verlangd. Op de realisatieopgave is de UAV 2012 (versie 2025) van toepassing.
