Marktsituatie Deze inkoopbehoefte betreft zeer specialistische apparatuur. Parascientific is de fabrikant, gevestigd in Redmond, Amerika. Bakker &Co is de enige partij welke de vertegenwoordiging van de digiquartz barometers van Parascientific voor Nederland en Belgiëis (zie: https://paroscientific.com/international_reps.php#q5 ). - de inkoop en reparaties van digiquarts barometers verlopen via Bakker & co. Wanneer een barometer gerepareerd moet worden stuurt Bakker & co deze naar Amerika voor analyse, reparatie en kalibratie. Het KNMI kan de aanschaf en reparatie van deze barometer niet bij een andere partij dan Bakker & co laten uitvoeren omdat zij de enige vertegenwoordiging zijn van deze barometers in de Nederland en België. Er is sprake van een monopolypositie in de markt. Vigerende wet en regelgeving De opdrachtwaarde tussen 2020 en 2024 binnen het KNMI voor aanschaf en reparatie van barometers was € 155.900,-. Deze opdrachten werden veelal als light-opdracht aan Bakker & co 350.000
