Opdrachtgever beoogt met deze aanbesteding een Opdrachtnemer te selecteren die gedurende de looptijd van de Overeenkomst tegen een marktconforme prijs Netwerkcomponenten kan leveren die kwalitatief goed zijn en passen bij het karakter van de twee organisaties. In beide organisaties geldt een bedrijfsvoering die 24 uur per dag en 7 dagen per week in werking is. In dit kader is de netwerkarchitectuur en visie van beide organisaties voornamelijk geënt continuïteit en het voorkomen van storingen. Bij incidenten is het van belang dat het netwerk snel weer beschikbaar is om de impact op de bedrijfsvoering te beperken. De opdrachtnemer zal ook ondersteunende dienstverlener leveren om het netwerk zo optimaal mogelijk te laten functioneren.
