Description

De Gemeente Voorne aan Zee heeft een concessieovereenkomst voor werken gesloten voor de herontwikkeling van de Plas van Heenvliet. De Plas van Heenvliet is een voormalige zandwinput die wordt verondiept met onder andere baggerspecie en vervolgens wordt ingericht als recreatiegebied. Met de opbrengst van de verwerkte baggerspecie wordt de inrichting van de Plas van Heenvliet bekostigd. De lopende concessieovereenkomst eindigde op 31 december 2025. Door onvoldoende aanbod van baggerspecie is het niet mogelijk gebleken om de werkzaamheden op de genoemde datum te voltooien. Voor de voltooiing van de zijn aanvullende werkzaamheden nodig, namelijk de langere exploitatie van de Plas van Heenvliet. De oorspronkelijke looptijd van de overeenkomst bedroeg vier jaar en valt boven de grens voor Europees aanbesteden. De verlenging beslaat een periode van 12 maanden, zodat de toename van de waarde ten opzichte van de oorspronkelijke opdracht ruim onder de grens van 50% blijft.
