Description

Het doel van dit inkooptraject is het contracteren van een gespecialiseerde marktpartij of combinatie van marktpartijen voor het voorbereiden en uitvoeren van visstandbeheer in het Loosdrechtse plassengebied. Het project maakt onderdeel uit van de KRW-maatregelen SGBP3 2023-2027 van waterschap AGV en draagt bij aan het behalen van de ecologische doelen voor gezond en schoon water. De opgave richt zich niet uitsluitend op het afvangen van vis, maar op het bereiken van een ecologisch resultaat. Door reductie van het bestand aan planktivore en benthivore vis wordt beoogd de omslag te maken van troebel, algenrijk en plantenarm water naar helder, plantenrijk water met een daarbij passend voedselweb. Deze omslag is noodzakelijk om het ecologisch herstel op lange termijn te bestendigen en daarmee de gewenste ecologische toestand duurzaam in stand te houden. Het projectresultaat wordt primair bepaald door de bijdrage van de maatregel aan het realiseren van helder en plantenrijk water. De vastgestelde vistargets voor planktivore en benthivore vis dienen daarbij als belangrijke stuur- en monitoringsindicator. De doelstelling is een maximaal restbestand van planktivore vis van 15 kg/ha en een maximaal restbestand van benthivore vis van 25 kg/ha per ecologisch analysegebied. Het succes van het project wordt niet bepaald door de absolute hoeveelheid gevangen vis, maar door de mate waarin de vastgestelde vistargets worden gerealiseerd en daarmee wordt bijgedragen aan het behalen van de ecologische doelstellingen van het project.
