De Gemeente Stein heeft, samen met de aan haar gelieerde entiteit Steinerbos BV, het voornemen om haar maatschappelijke accommodaties structureel te verduurzamen en de daaraan gekoppelde onderhoudsmaatregelen uit te voeren. De basis hiervoor is vastgelegd in de gemeentelijke beleids- en investeringskaders. De totale vastgoedportefeuille van de gemeente omvat circa 35 accommodaties, verspreid over de vijf kernen: Stein (kleine Meers), Elsloo (grote meers), Urmond, Berg aan de Maas en Meers. Onderhavige aanbestedingsprocedure heeft specifiek betrekking op de realisatie van Fase 1 van deze integrale verduurzamingsopgave, zoals nader geoperationaliseerd en vastgesteld in het Accommodatiebeleid 2025-2029 en de Routekaart Verduurzaming Vastgoed (2025). Het onderwerp van de opdracht omvat de bouwkundige en installatietechnische uitvoering van verduurzamings- en onderhoudsmaatregelen. Algemeen regulier onderhoud dat geen directe samenhang kent met de verduurzamingsopgave is uitdrukkelijk uitgesloten van de scope. De opdracht is onderverdeeld in 2 (twee) percelen.
