Description

Het beoogde projectresultaat is het opwaarderen van de stationsomgeving om de ruimtelijke ambities, in functie en kwaliteit, waar te maken. Groot onderdeel hiervan is het veiliger maken van het stationsgebied door de huidige situatie bij de spoorovergang aan te pakken en de bushaltes te verplaatsen. De aanleg van een rotonde dient bij te dragen aan de verkeersveiligheid. Het vergroten van het aantal parkeerplaatsen draagt bij aan de bereikbaarheid en leefbaarheid van de stationsomgeving. Onder de scope van het project vallen in ieder geval de volgende werkzaamheden: • De aanleg van een nieuwe weg tussen de nieuwe rotonde (tussen Stationsstraat en het station op ongeveer 120 meter van de overweg) en het station (let op: een deel van dit werk valt binnen de 12-meter zone vanaf het hart van het spoor, hiervoor dient Opdrachtnemer geschikt voor te zijn); • Het verplaatsen van de bushalte aan de stationsstraat en het opzetten van tijdelijke verkeer 4.350.000
