De te onderhouden bos- en natuurgebieden liggen binnen of in de directe nabijheid van de gemeentegrenzen van gemeente Eersel. De exacte grenzen en ligging zijn opgenomen in het beleids-plan. De aanbestedende dienst kiest niet voor het toepassen van percelen met de volgende motivering: de samenhang in tijd (cyclus), techniek en materialen tussen de verschillende werkzaamheden is zodanig dat beschrijven in percelen niet wenselijk is. Daarnaast wil de Opdrachtgever in geval van gebreken, garantiekwesties e.d. met één aansprakelijke partij van doen te hebben en niet met meerdere partijen die de aansprakelijkheid ten aanzien van deze zaken bij elkaar proberen weg te leggen. De overeenkomst wordt aangegaan met één leverancier voor een initiële looptijd van 5 jaar en gaat in na ondertekening. Na de initiële looptijd van 5 jaar eindigt de overeenkomst van rechtswege. Voor de periode na de initiële looptijd bestaan er twee optionele verlengingen die door aanbestedende dienst kan worden ingeroepen: de eerste verlenging voor een periode van 3 jaar en de tweede verlenging voor een periode van 2 jaar. Opdrachtgever zal uiterlijk 6 maanden voor de einddatum van de overeenkomst aan opdrachtnemer berichten of zij de overeenkomst wenst voort te zetten. De conceptovereenkomst is als bijlage toegevoegd aan dit aanbestedingsdocument. De daadwerkelijke ingangsdatum wordt opgenomen in de overeenkomst.
