De doelstelling van deze aanbesteding is erop gericht om de leefomgeving te verbeteren, zowel voor mensen als voor dieren en heeft het tot doel om de buitenruimte te verfraaien. Daarnaast omvat het creëren van schaduw, het bieden van privacy, het aantrekken van vogels en insecten, het toevoegen van structuur en kleur aan de openbare ruimte en het verhogen van de biodiversiteit. Met maximaal twee leveranciers voor perceel 1 wordt een overeenkomst aangegaan. Voor perceel 2 wordt er een overeenkomst aangegaan met twee leveranciers. In de bijlage is een concept overeenkomst bij dit aanbestedingsdocument gevoegd. Wanneer er meer dan maximaal aantal leveranciers per perceel een offerte indienen, dan zal er met de beste twee leveranciers per perceel een overeenkomst worden aangegaan.
