Description

Uit objectieve marktverkenning blijkt dat uitsluitend het LUCAS-systeem beschikt over een zuignap-/pistonmechanisme waarmee actieve decompressie en negatieve intrathoracale druk worden gerealiseerd. Dit levert een significant betere, wetenschappelijk aangetoonde effectiviteit op. Het LUCAS-systeem is volledig compatibel met de protocollen van de ketenpartners binnen en buiten het werkgebied. Toepassing van een ander systeem zou een onderbreking van de thoraxcompressies tijdens de overdracht noodzakelijk maken. Dit is volgens de ERC-richtlijnen medisch onwenselijk en schaadt de patiëntveiligheid. De opdracht betreft vervanging en navolgens te onderhouden voor de levensduur van maximaal 10 jaar van 40 LUCAS-systemen (mechanische thoraxcompressieapparaten).
