Description

Gemeente Apeldoorn wil de Sprengenweg tussen de Henri Dunantlaan en Badhuiswg herinrichten en reconstrueren. De Sprengenweg is tussen de Herni Dunantlaan en Koning Lodewijklaan gecategoriseerd als gebiedsontsluitingsweg met een maximum snelheid van 50 km/uur en vrijliggende fietspaden. Op het deel tussen de Koning Lodewijklaan en de Badhuisweg is de weg als gebiedsontsluitingsweg 30 (GOW 30) gecategoriseerd. Hier krijgen de fietsers een prominente plek op de rijbaan. Op de kruisingen met de Henri Dunantlaan en Prinses Beatrixlaan worden rotondes aangelegd. Op delen van het tracé wordt het riool vervangen en hemelwater afgekoppeld. Tussen de Bartelsweg en de Badhuisweg loopt een spreng in de middenberm. Deze heeft een hoge cultuurhistorische en ecologische waarde. Bovendien staat op de dit wegvak een aantal beeldbepalende, waardevolle bomen. De gemeente Apeldoorn heeft het voorlopig ontwerp uitgewerkt. Het voorlopig ontwerp wordt door de gemeente uitgewerkt tot een definitief ontwerp, bestekstekeningen en een RAW bestek.
