Netherlands - Construction of pipelines, communication lines and electricity lines - HS route works - Prior information notice

Stedin has published a prior information notice for an upcoming contract for constructing high-voltage (HS) cable routes in its service area in the Netherlands. The work covers HS route construction, related telecom works where applicable, and optional engineering, which Stedin may assign either to the contractor or carry out itself. Materials are supplied by Stedin. The contract is divided into two lots: Lot 1 covering the North region (The Hague area) and Central region (Utrecht area), and Lot 2 covering the South region (Rotterdam area), the port area and Zeeland. Estimated value is around 50 million Euro per year in total, ranging from 30 million Euro in the first contract year to 65 million Euro in the eighth. Each lot comprises two framework agreements based on Stedin specifications. The tender is expected to start in early April 2026. Only companies recognised under Stedin's Electrical Works Recognition Scheme in both category 2 (MS projects) and category 3 (HS projects) will receive an invitation; a recognition application must have been submitted by 6 March 2026 at the latest.
