Description

As part of preparation work for a future procurement procedure, Renfrewshire Council invites interested organisations to participate in this market consultation exercise. Teams meetings will be held on Wednesday 24.06.2026 between 1400-1530hrs and Thursday 25.06.2026 1100-1230hrs. Please note these meetings are intended to last 15/20 mins. The aim of these meetings is to inform the procurement strategy and approach to a Contract for the appointment of a Designer to lead a Design and Fabrication Team and fulfil the role of Principal Designer to develop and deliver a wayfinding programme in Paisley town centre ahead of Paisley Museum re-opening. The programme will have complementary physical and digital outputs, comprising: identification of signage and street furniture to help declutter the town centre visually; fabrication and installation of up to 7 x freestanding physical boundary markers with associated seating; and creation of a wayfinding microsite, which further enhances users' wayfinding experience. Please note the meetings do not form part of a formal procurement process and will not influence or prejudice any future procurement procedure.
