Description

South Ayrshire Council are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified Contractor to carry out the construction works at Muirhead Primary School in Troon. Tenderers shall refer to the Preliminaries Clause A10/110 for details of the proposed works. NOTE: To register your interest in this notice and obtain any additional information please visit the Public Contracts Scotland Web Site at https://www.publiccontractsscotland.gov.uk/Search/Search_Switch.aspx?ID=830138. The buyer has indicated that it will accept electronic responses to this notice via the Postbox facility. A user guide is available at https://www.publiccontractsscotland.gov.uk/sitehelp/help_guides.aspx. Suppliers are advised to allow adequate time for uploading documents and to dispatch the electronic response well in advance of the closing time to avoid any last minute problems. Community benefits are included in this requirement. For more information see: https://www.gov.scot/policies/public-sector-procurement/community-benefits-in-procurement/ A summary of the expected community benefits has been provided as follows: Tenderers should detail the Community Benefits which will be delivered within South Ayrshire as part of this contract. These should be relative to the value of this contract. Examples include: - Improving education and skills (i.e. creation of apprenticeships or delivering presentations in schools), - Improving local employability (i.e. creation of new jobs), - Work experience placements, - Delivering training and development in the community, - Enhancing and improving local community and environmental projects, - Sponsorship and charity work. Any benefits delivered in previous projects can be provided as examples but cannot be evaluated and submissions which focus on historic benefits will receive zero marks. (SC Ref:830138)
