The Water Services Corporation invites works for the regeneration of the Gzira Sewage Pumping Station and its surrounding grounds. The project includes restoration of the scheduled Main Building, with parts repurposed to house the locality's Local Council offices and multi-purpose spaces for use by the Local Council and WSC, plus upgrading of the pumping station's operational facilities. The existing formal garden on the Rue d'Argens frontage is to be restored and retained, while the rest of the site becomes a public garden serving the Gzira community as a green enclave. Works also include laying of pipes and services in open cut trenches in Triq Rue d'Argens, Gzira, as per the tender documents and bill of quantities.
