Works concern the renewal of the railway track bed and tracks on line 6 between Luxembourg and Bettembourg, covering the renewal of the two main running tracks over approximately 1,420 metres with modernisation of the various components, civil engineering works to renew the track bed and bring it up to regulatory profile, civil engineering works to build foundations for catenary poles between PK 7,380 and PK 9,750, renewal of the drainage network and culverts, and the repair or creation of regulatory access paths with channels. The main construction phase, a full closure of the railway line, runs from 16 July 2026 to 24 August 2026 at 4:00.
