Description

Lot 1: Support for statistical data production of monetary environmental accounts Lot 2: Support for statistical data production of physical environmental accounts Lot 3: Updating, application, and further development of models to estimate raw material equivalents (RME models) Lot 4: Economic aspects of environmental policy areas The objective of this call for tenders (Lot 3) is to support Eurostat in: - ensuring a smooth transition from the current Excel-based EU RME model to the new ICIO RME-model; - testing and validating the results of the ICIO RME model, e.g. against simulated estimates produced by the current EU RME model, estimates produced by other organisations and against estimates produced by the countries; - updating and applying Eurostat's new ICIO RME-model, and updating/revising the documentation; - further developing the ICIO RME model considering the most suitable available data and methodologies for disaggregation and hybridisation; - updating and improving the country RME solution, updating/revising its documentation and providing support to users of the solution and national statistical institutes engaging in the estimation of MFA-RME.
