Accessible swimming spot and route at Lake Kuusijärvi

The City of Vantaa is procuring construction works to create an accessible swimming spot and route at the Kuusijärvi outdoor recreation area in the Kuninkaanmäki district (city district 97). The works include building an accessible route bordering the swimming beach, partly paved with patio bricks, running from the parking area towards the lakeside smoke sauna, where it connects to a previously built accessible section leading to a fireplace. The route also serves as a rescue and maintenance route, and the furniture along it will be renewed. The project also covers demolition of a latrine bridge, an accessible swimming ramp with a sound beacon, shower, open changing shelters, storage building and lockers, paving, additional planting, a green roof, and electrical works.
