Description

L’appalto si riferisce all’acquisizione del cluster ad alte prestazioni, composto da tre nodi CPU/GPU e da un sistema di archiviazione integrato con tecnologie SAN e NAS, risponde all’esigenza di potenziare le capacità computazionali e di gestione dati dell’Area di Ricerca, in relazione alle attività di ricerca scientifica e sviluppo tecnologico ad alta intensità di calcolo. L’infrastruttura sarà impiegata per l’elaborazione parallela di simulazioni numeriche complesse,analisi ad alte prestazioni di dataset sperimentali, modellazione di sistemi fisico-chimici, sviluppo evalidazione di modelli predittivi basati su intelligenza artificiale, oltre che per il supporto a progettiorientati alla transizione energetica e all’economia circolare.
