Homelessness System Review

Cambridge City Council has awarded a contract for the second phase of a whole system review of homelessness. Phase one was completed by the council. Phase two covers a new homelessness strategy, an action plan, and work required under the Supported Housing (Regulatory Oversight) Act 2023, namely a review and strategy for Supported Accommodation, under a new contract. All 6 local authorities with this responsibility in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough want the work brought together, with PPL completing it for the whole area to deliver economies of scale and produce LGR ready strategies by the deadline of 31/03/2027. Cambridge City Council's procurement value may go over the PA23 value.
