Det er vedtatt ny bypakke (bompengepakke) for Haugesund og fastlands-Karmøy, som bl.a. innebærer nye vei-/gateprosjekter og gang-/sykkelprosjekter. Formålet er å gjøre det tryggere og enklere å gå eller sykle til og fra Haugesund sentrum, områdesenteret på Norheim, skoler, idrettspark og andre områder.
